4th utterance: Let the earth send forth vegetation 4th commandment Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy
When we remember in relating with ourselves, others and the Creator that all is made in the image of His 13 attributes of mercy, and this is reflected in our speech and deeds, it parallels remembering the Sabbath day and keeping it holy, which is the action we do to maintain let the earth send forth vegetation.
How we think of ourselves and others, how we treat others, and how we serve Hashem literally vegetates and nurtures the world. As we create influence, the Creator maintains the world according to our choices, may He have patience with us and help us triumph intellect from Torah over native intellect as the source of our emotions and actions.
